My background

I am a true Berliner but spent a considerable part of my childhood in then Zaire, Sierra Leone, and Cape Verde.

With a deep longing for foreign experiences, I took every opportunity to travel: A student exchange to Nicaragua, volunteer work in Israel, backpacking in the Middle East/North Africa.

Like many people in my generation, I was a bit clueless about what to do after finishing High School. I only knew that I wanted to contribute to a more peaceful world, with opportunities for everyone.

My first job brought me to Afghanistan. Having been to the Middle East I was curious about that place and wanted to challenge myself in a real (post)-conflict environment.

I have always been between cultures, an outside observer, and hopefully a bridge. I have worked with German and international civil society organizations, NGOs/INGOs, Governmental Institutions, think tanks, Academic Institutions, Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Armed Forces.

My home base is Berlin, but I am happy to travel to any place where my expertise is needed.

For my well-being I practice Yoga and Pilates, I love cooking and hosting dinner parties.

I work in German and English and am currently trying to improve my French.

Oh, and I am happy to facilitate a workshop or seminar via Zoom or Webex.
